Chris is an operating system analyst (expert classification) at San Diego State University and holds a Ph.D in computational science. Chris has been employed in the College of Engineering at San Diego State since 1996 and before that served two years as a lead analyst in the Telecommunications and Network Services department. Before working at San Diego State, Chris was an associate software engineer at Unisys Corporation for four years.
Chris is the recipient of numerous awards and distinctions. In 1990 he received the Unisys Scholarship for academic merit as a undergraduate student in computer science. In 2002, Chris was awarded an ARCS Foundation scholarship and was an active ARCS scholar from 2002 to 2005.
